FaceTime is a HIPAA compliant platform that allows you to have your doctor’s appointment virtually.
Step 1
You MUST have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac book in order to FaceTime. Any other device will not work.
Since each device comes with a built-in FaceTime app, no download is required. The app is shown below.
Step 2
Your provider will call you from their device. You will not need to call the office.
Caller ID will come up as “Telehealth00@KCH”
Step 3
Answer your call by sliding to answer. Note for FaceTime it will show “would like to FaceTime”
Step 4
If FaceTime stops working in the middle of the call select the “FaceTime” option to bring it back up
Note: This type of phone call is utilized for your appointment and you will not be able to call the number to contact your physician after your scheduled appointment time.
If you should need to contact your provider after the visit has ended please contact their office.
