Bruce M. Behner, Jr., joined the Administrative Staff at Knox Community Hospital as the Chief Operating Officer in June 2007. A veteran healthcare executive with over 44 years of experience, Mr. Behner came to Knox County from Nanticoke Memorial Health System of Seaford, Delaware, where he served as Vice President of Outpatient and Hospitality Services.
In his role as Chief Operating Office, Behner assists in the oversight of the day-to-day activities of the organization, providing leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure the organization has the proper operational controls and administrative and reporting procedures.
Mr. Behner earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Youngstown State University.
